INTRODUCTION

Backgammon is a timeless board game of strategy and luck. Move your pieces around the board and try to bear them off before your opponent does. The game requires a combination of careful planning and dice rolling skills, making it a thrilling and challenging game to play.


RULES

  1. Objective: Bear off all your pieces before your opponent does.
  • Moving Pieces: Use the dice rolls to move your pieces forward on the board.
  • Hitting: If your opponent has only one piece on a point, you can hit it and send it to the bar.
  1. Scoring:
  • The winner receives 1 point for a normal win and 2 points for a gammon (when the opponent hasn't borne off any pieces).
  • If the loser hasn't borne off any pieces or still has pieces on the bar or in the winner's home board, it's a backgammon and the winner receives 3 points.
  1. Winning:
  • The first player to reach or exceed 10 points wins the game.
  • Avoid letting your opponent reach 10 points first!
